Alone Note

• Despite feeling busy I'm still finding plenty of time to procrastinate this and that in favour of TV. It's not the only lure, Boulder's Gate 3 has caught my eye: No, it would consume me. Maybe if I actually did something on my DIY task list it wouldn't keep growing.
• Rowan was right, The Bear is incredible.
• R is away for two weeks and three weekends, on an adventure.
• I'm a greedy boy who gobbled up his annual leave.
• On the one hand I'm living my best life as a functioning human: Yesterday I met loads of new people on a tour of allotments and spent all day socialising in the sun; today I saw friends, held their baby (very cute, real human now) and helped a tiny bit with renovations; and now I'm making a perfect vegetable moussaka.
• On the other hand: I'm generally eating weirdly, at weird times; I refuse to go to bed without someone here to – through only their presence – remind me I really aught to be asleep; and I just boiled the kettle and poured wine at the same time.
• Like I said, living my best life.
