Courier Note

This is a boring weeknote. Or, if you find them boring already (rude), more boring than usual. It feels like every other part of my life is getting in the way of allotment projects at the moment 😅
- Whilst I'll make an allotment exception in favour of fun, sociable activities I have been more annoyed than usual to have to go to this place called work. Especially on sunny days.
- Not that I haven't made plenty of time for the allotment! Seeds have been sowed; seedlings have been potted on; well rotted manure has been dug; rubbish has been cleared. Everything aches.
- I drove our car for the first time. Of course I went to Homebase to gather gardening materials. We also went to collect an old, abandoned chair for the allotment. Probably it turned into a very expensive endeavour, as I drove through a bus gate 15 minutes before it would have stopped being a bus gate (:sad-blob:)
- Oh! I also drove to see my grandparents ☺️ Previously we'd need to rely on a lift for the last leg. It was a 45-ish minute drive, each way, and all felt relaxed and comfortable. I even got in and out of their driveway smoothly. Although I did make one small whoopsie on the way back, which is fine and expected of a new driver but I'm still thinking about it...
- Is this making me sound like a bad driver? I think it sounds worse written down. I've been trying to make excuses to drive to ensure I keep up what I've learnt and become seasoned at it.
- My main, real concern is still parallel parking in tight spaces on our street. It's limiting the times of day I'm comfortable returning in the car without R for backup.
- Huh, so, I missed the government's emergency alert system... 25mins post apocalypse I found it on my lockscreen.
Other things happened this week too, probably, but I'm even bored of writing this now. Byyyeee! Thanks for reading, sorry for wasting your time.
