Ode Note

Warmth parts frigid air,
Sheep fade behind rolling fog,
Leg forward exhale.

  • I'm running regularly again and it feels good.
  • Ode to Joy. I watched Die Hard with around 70 colleagues this week, remotely. The best Christmas tradition. I was way more excited for it than I was the cancelled Christmas party, to be honest. HO-HO-HO πŸŽ…πŸŽ„πŸ”₯
  • Whoopsie. A system error led hundreds and hundreds of people to a small church all at once, each seeking a 2pm covid booster jab. Fortunately I was in a hurry to get back to watch Die Hard and so had arrived a little early, before the worst of the furore.
  • I'm still absolutely, utterly obsessed with watching dehumidifier reviews on YouTube; we have some damp/mould issues here, so I crave fresher air. I don't think I'll eat or sleep or live life normally again until we're able to move and I can buy the perfect unit.
  • Hey! This morning I woke up without feeling tired or mildly ill. I even had the spring chicken song stuck in my head πŸ˜‚ I’m a spring chicken, I’m yellow and small, my feathers are fluffy and they’re keeping me warm...
  • What's going on.
  • As last year I'm going to skip next week's note. Have a Merry Christmas, reader πŸ‘‹

Leg forward inhale,
Sheep fade behind ghostly veil,
Beard soaked with fog juice.
