Yeasty Note

• According to my internal monologue I started this week an absolute zero and ended a hero. Pizza and socialising yesterday evening followed by fun, productive teamwork today was exactly what I needed. Over a year on and I'm still figuring out what I need from remote work.
• I had a dream where everyone went back to the office at the same time, completely unrestricted, and there was an intense air of celebration. In the dream I triumphantly marched around the office, bursting through doors - as if I'm not so tepid - to smiles and high fives everywhere. Going back won’t be anything near that, but catching up with a few colleagues in the flesh will feel as good. I’ve booked a train.
• For a product and tech social I proposed a plant swap and have been helping the rest of Culture Club to organise a little something. The idea has moved on from a plant swap, but is still going to include a group activity as well as opportunities to share photos, stories, and care tips. I hope people get involved and have a fun time! 🙌🌿

• We had epic thunderstorms this week. ⛈ If you're not here you don't care and if you are here you already know, but there we are.
• I don't know anyone locally who makes Kombucha, so I'm trying to grow a scoby from shop bought Kombucha. A week in I have sweet smelling, yeasty sediment. I will keep you updated.
