Wololo Note

Nothing! Nothing! Leave me alone! Is what I wanted to write this week. How rude. Also, not true.

• A group of friendly FT folk met virtually to play Age of Empires 2 this week. I won.
• The only surprising thing about my win was how small the margin of victory was, considering. Originally released 1999 I've been playing since I was young. During my time at university it was re-released. I got a little obsessed and racked up 509 hours of game play. That's about 70 working days! Imagine what else I could have done with that time.
• I'd do it again.
• Wololo!
• Beer52 delivered a stout which tastes like Terry's Chocolate Orange and, with Christmas approaching, as far as I'm concerned they've proven their worth.
• My thumb became infected I think. It swelled, became red, and hot. I fretted endlessly. R said if I wasn't going to do anything about it, like see my GP or a pharmacist, I wasn't allowed to complain. My retort was that I am taking a course of action and that course of action is to wait and see, it's just an anxiety riddled course which I shall complain about!
• Anyway it's fine now. But don't take that as a reason to wait and see if you're in a similar situation. I once danced too aggressively at a wedding. My shoes gave me a small blister. It became infected and that eventually lead to intermittent hospitalisation and eventually surgery. An infection is not to be messed with.
• I'd never have ended up in London if it weren't for that incident. My life would be very different. For example, I might be less of a wanker when it comes to coffee preference. That's a story for another time.
• Am I allowed to write wanker in my weeknotes?
• Speaking of which R tried to order an ice cube tray this week. I interfered and complicated the situation. You can't just buy an ice cube tray! It's got to be the forever ice cube tray. What dimensions are the cubes? What material is the tray? Is there a lid? Can it go in the freezer any way around? They're looking forward to decorating and furnishing a future home with me.
• Together we compromised on cost, size, and features. We now have cubes of ice. We're keeping the little fish ice cube tray too. I'll use it for freezing herbs.

• At the start of my weeknote venture I had you in mind the whole time dear reader. I still care about what you think, I hope you enjoy my weeknotes in some way, or find them useful, but increasingly I'm cutting corners. Like I'm not always wrapping up well. I'm done when I'm done.
