A New Patch

I've taken on an allotment! A co-tenancy with a local friend. It's bigger than our old flat by a factor of 10. That's a lot of brambles to dig up.

A large overgrown, green hedge. There's a small opening in the middle, just about visible, where a door used to be.
The entrance is overgrown, the door is on the floor.
A disused fire place in an out building. There's no roof. Ivy grows down the chimney breast. The floor is as carpet of low growing moss and weeds. Scrap wood is scattered to the left.
There's an out building. It doesn't have a roof. Or much in the way of walls. But it does have a kind of fire place.
A beautiful green view of the allotment and out beyond Sheffield, skyscrapers punctuate an area of trees. In the foreground weeds grow tall. Thorned brambles rule. A large pile of bagged rubbish and a bumped fridge freezer sit within the undergrowth.
Brambles rule. There's a dumped fridge freezer. The view, though, the view. And the potential.
